The Men's Shield 8.0 Public Order Boot is a fully waterproof, fully fire retardant, breathable public order safety boot which has been certified as protective clothing for use in violent situations. A fit-for-purpose boot that has been built to withstand the toughest urban environments. Ideal for public order police force, this eight-inch boot would also be suitable for emergency medical and fire and rescue personnel.eam sealed for long-lasting waterproof protection, with Hi-Tec's i-Shield technology conditioning water and dirt repellent technology which repels all forms of liquid including blood borne pathogens, alcohol, fuel and other flammable substances. The highly durable SRC slip resistant outsole is fire retardant, heat resistant and insulated against hot and cold, with ladder grips for extreme traction. These boots also feature lace locking cleats and fire retardant laces, strong, rustproof hardware, a TPU reinforced heel counter, and a steel toe cap and penetration resistant plate for further protection. An anti-bacterial Cambrelle lining, EVA forefoot and heel fillers, and a contour moulded removable M-P.A.C.T insole with memory foam provide ultimate comfort so you can stay focused on the job in hand.Tested and certified to European Standard EN 20345 for safety footwear with SRC slip resistance, and tested and certified to BS 7971 Protective Clothing and Equipment for use in violent situations (Class 2, Level 3).
