The Assembly Jacket from Jack Wolfskin is a windproof, soft textured softshell hiking jacket.This technical and super-comfortable hiking softshell combines the typical attributes of the softshell concept: high stretch mobility and high breathability. The Stormlock Hyproof membrane also makes it totally windproof and extremely (and durably) water resistant. The superb wear comfort is easily explained: the fabric has much in common with classic sweatshirt fabrics but is significantly more functional. The outer surface consists of a soft Jersey and the reverse side of a lightly textured knitwear, which delivers basic insulation. Sweat is shifted rapidly to the outer surface of the fabric, where it evaporates effectively. And when greater freedom of movement is called for, the fabric's active stretch performance is a very practical attribute.
