Montane have used Polartec synthetic insulation in the body and sleeves for added warmth, and as it's synthetic it will cope better if it gets damp, as it may well do if you're working hard in the mountains.A well thought out feature set is also included with articulated arms, a stretch bound face aperture, a microfleece beardguard, and a close fitting hood for comfort and manoeuvrability. The zips on the two hand pockets, chest pocket and full length two-way zip are all YKK for finished quality, while stretch bound cuffs and an adjustable hem tailor your fit. You can even fold the jacket into its own pocket.
