Perfect for fast moving activities, the tough fabric protects against wind chill while providing excellent breathability and comfort.The tough, nylon-faced Gore Windstopper fabric has a lightly brushed back and provides maximum wind protection and breathability for all-day comfort. Granite Stretch panels under the arms and in the side panels give freedom of movement and allow more air flow in these areas. Technical tailoring across the rear shoulders and biceps gives an excellent active fit and prevents arm-lift raising the hem while you reach high. Articulated elbow seams move ergonomically with your arms.The fully adjustable hood is designed to fit comfortably over a climbing helmet. An internal elastic loop and external hook allow hood to be rolled down and secured while not in use in windy conditions. Horizontal neck compression and face aperture adjustment allow a close fit around your head or helmet. A stiffened peak gives stability with a wired edge for adjustability.The two map-sized, A-line handwarmer pockets with covered zips are positioned well clear of a pack or climbing harness. They are mesh lined and can be used for ventilation. Two further pockets at the chest provide plenty of storage options. Ergonomic zip pullers make all pockets easy to use while wearing gloves.
