The G-1000 fabric used in these trousers can be waxed with Fjällräven's Greenland Wax (sold separately) in order to increase the weather protection when you are heading out in tough conditions, equally the wax can be washed out in order to increase breathability when heading out in milder conditions making them akin to one of the most versatile trousers on the market.
