Mountain shell pants with toughened panels in high wear areas. The Montane Men's Alpine Pro Pants have been developed with all the technical features needed for extended use in alpine conditions.The construction uses lightweight 40-denier Gore-Tex Pro fabric predominantly with tough 70-denier Gore-Tex Pro fabric in the high wear areas over the seat and knees. A durable ripstop nylon is used on the insteps.The tailoring allows the pants to be layered on top of insulating legwear while minimising excess bulk. Articulated knees and a gusseted crotch allow ease of movement when climbing. The gusseted lower legs which can be adjusted with AquaGuard zips and the additional drawcord so they are versatile enough to accommodate both ski mountaineering boots and lighter weight footwear.YKK AquaGuard full-length side zips allow easy on and off over footwear or even skis. Internal storm flaps behind the side zips together with top and bottom press studs prevent weather entry. Adjustable hook and loop side tabs allow the waistband to be cinched down as required Ergonomic zip pullers make their use easier when wearing gloves or mitts.The adjustable stretch braces have a silicone print to grip your shoulder and they can be removed if not required.
